1.5.1

Aircraft Library

Get to know the aircraft you fly. Aircraft Library brings AirframeDB's background stories, manuals, pilot accounts and videos into FFB-Bridge, alongside your simulator.

01

Safety first

Secure the base before enabling forces, begin with a conservative physical ceiling, keep the emergency disarm control within reach, and never use guided tests during a live flight.

02

Install and first launch

FFB-Bridge uses a per-user Windows installer, a self-installing Linux AppImage, and a signed, notarized macOS disk image.

03

Hardware

Hardware is the single home for every setting that belongs to the physical stick or yoke.

04

Tuning aircraft feel

Tuning controls how the aircraft feels. Device selection, physical limits, calibration, and button assignments belong under Hardware.

05

Helicopter force feedback

Set up cyclic damping, force trim and rotor cues in a Rotorcraft profile, then assign the controls you use on your own hardware.

06

Troubleshooting and support

Use Flight Check to isolate the failure, then export a support bundle before changing multiple settings. The bundle preserves the evidence needed to diagnose the device, simulator, and force pipeline.
