After updating FFB-Bridge from version 1.5.2 to 1.5.3, the force feedback strength on my MOZA AB9 has noticeably decreased.
FFB is still working, so this is not a complete loss of force feedback. The issue is different: with exactly the same hardware, the same profiles, and the same configuration, the forces at the stick are now clearly weaker than they were with 1.5.2.
Increasing Master Gain does not noticeably restore the previous force level.
My setup:
- MOZA AB9
- MSFS 2024
- FFB-Bridge 1.5.3
- Same profiles and same hardware configuration previously used with 1.5.2
The change appeared immediately after installing 1.5.3.
For that reason, I do not think it makes sense to retune profiles that were working correctly before the update just to compensate for this new behaviour. If the force level has changed between 1.5.2 and 1.5.3 without any change to the user configuration, I think it is worth checking whether a change or regression has been introduced in force scaling, MOZA hardware output, hardware limits, or gain handling.
Has anyone else with an AB9 or AB6 noticed the same loss of force after updating to 1.5.3?
If this is an intentional change, I would appreciate knowing exactly what changed. If not, this may be a regression compared with 1.5.2.
