Drivers and third-party software

The Pro installer for Windows adds three drivers that the Controls page uses for routing. This page lists them with their Microsoft certification reports, and the third-party components Pro uses with their licenses.

What the Windows installer adds

The Windows installer includes Microsoft-signed Control Router 2.0.0.4, Native Consumer 1.0.0.2 and Input Owner 1.0.0.3. They create the virtual FFB-Bridge devices that the simulator reads, and Input Owner handles physical input ownership during routing. Routing is described in Controls: routing and pedals.

macOS and Linux

Pro installs no drivers on macOS or Linux. Your stick works through the operating system's own support, the same way as in FFB-Bridge Free. See Hardware setup.

Components Pro uses

Pro is built on the components below. The voice models are not part of the installer. Pro downloads speech recognition and command understanding when you click Download voice models, and the natural voice and wake word only if you choose them.
