FFB-Bridge Pro
Pro is a separate app built on the same force engine as FFB-Bridge. It adds tools for finding the feel you want: a live view of every force, voice commands, response curves, flight recording and a companion page for your tablet. It also routes your yoke, stick and Brunner rudder pedals and guides you through binding them in the simulator.
Get started
- Install Pro on Windows 11, macOS or Linux. It installs alongside FFB-Bridge Free and keeps its own settings and profiles.
- Open Pro License and enter the license key from your purchase email. See Pro license.
- Set up your stick and simulator the same way as in Free: hardware, MSFS or X-Plane.
- If you want autopilot and trim follow on a yoke or stick, or force feedback on Brunner pedals, set them up on the Controls page. See Controls: routing and pedals.
- Pick a profile for your aircraft, start a flight and click the arm button at the top of the window.
What Pro adds
Live Dashboard
Every force over the last few minutes. Click a trace to tune that effect.
Voice Control
Change forces and ask questions by voice while you fly.
Advanced Tuning
A response curve for every effect, with the aircraft's V-speeds marked.
Black Box
Record flights, review every force and try new settings against them.
Cockpit Web
Live forces, tuning, aircraft facts and the binding sheet on your phone or tablet.
Profile Library
Browse and install community profiles from inside the app.
Profile History
Go back to an earlier version of a saved profile.
Profile Recovery
Private copies of the profiles you choose, ready to restore on another computer.
Base settings
Your base's own feel, travel stops, app assignments and lights.
Controls: routing and pedals
Route a yoke or stick for autopilot and trim follow, and set up Brunner rudder pedals.
Controls: bindings and simulator profiles
The MSFS 2024 binding sheet, X-Plane 12 assignments and copying existing bindings.
Pro also supports the Brunner FFB-G stick and FFB-G Rudder pedals. The stick and pedals are set up from the Controls pages.
Free and Pro on one computer
Pro and Free are separate apps. Each has its own settings and profile folder, and Pro does not copy anything from Free.
To use a profile you made in Free, find its file in the Free profile folder, then click Import file… on the Profiles page in Pro.
- Windows:
%APPDATA%\ffb-bridge\profiles - macOS and Linux:
~/.config/ffb-bridge/profiles
Run one app at a time. Quit Free before you start Pro, so only one of them controls your stick.
What Pro sends over the internet
Pro works offline once it is set up. It goes online to:
- activate and refresh your license, and check for updates
- download voice models and map packs, when you ask for them
- browse and install profiles in the Profile Library
- keep private copies of your profiles, if you turn on Profile Recovery
- send a problem report, when you choose to
Voice recognition runs on your computer. Black Box recordings stay on your computer unless you export them, and Cockpit Web runs on your local network.
License and updates
Pro is a one-time purchase. It runs with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and X-Plane 12.
- One license works on up to three computers.
- Pro refreshes its license online. Connect to the internet at least every 45 days. Pro works offline in between.
- All 1.x updates are included.
- The purchase includes a 14-day refund window.
- Pro 1.0 needs a purchased license. A beta or release-candidate license cannot activate it.
Pro needs Windows 11 (64-bit), macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon, or 64-bit Linux. See Install and activate and Pro license.
Some hardware and simulator combinations still need broader physical testing, and an intermittent Safety Stop during routed autopilot is under investigation. See Controls: routing and pedals.
