Autopilot follow temporary override

Some autopilots have functionality allowing the pilot to temporarily override the autopilot. Often this allows the pilot to update the autopilot settings (pitch and/or roll, etc).

This is usually while a button is pressed and then autopilot control is restored when the button is released.

Currently with Moza, autopilot following uses full authority/strength... which makes it extremely hard to move.

Would it be possible to have override functionality defined to disable autopilot following while a button is being pressed... then restored when button is released?

It would be desirable to have a per profile setting as the buttons would likely be different per aircraft when trying to model the position of the button in the real aircraft to the position of the button used on the Moza hardware.

Just to give a couple of examples of aircraft that I fly... hence the request.

The A2A Aerostar and the the flysimware Learjet 35A. I think both manuals are publicly available and discuss the autopilot functionality if desired for reference.

Thank you for looking into it.

It appears that the new A2A Lancair Legacy RG550 also has an AP override functionality as well.

Yeah, I've already purchased this plane and added it in.

I'm releasing Pro today so you'll get this in the next Free update, couple days maybe. I haven't had the time to test it thoroughly, but it does work. I'll get it done soon.
