AB6 with virpil z-extension - Stick falls back (nose up) in helicopter profiles (e.g. H125)

Love the idea of FFB Bridge, but I’m running into an issue when flying helicopters.

I’m using a Virpil Z-extension to bring the stick closer to me and further back over the seat. Because of this, the weight distribution changes and the center of mass of the stick assembly is shifted backwards.

When using MOZA Cockpit, this seems to be compensated for correctly. However, when I use FFB Bridge with the helicopter profiles, the stick immediately falls backwards towards me as soon as I arm the base.

I also tried the helicopter cyclic damping test from the Flight Check. According to the description, the stick should stay in whatever position I move it to, but mine does not. It always tends to fall backwards instead.

Is there any way in FFB Bridge to compensate for the weight and shifted center of mass caused by the Z-extension? I couldn’t find anything in the documentation, but if I missed it, please point me in the right direction. :)

Yes, this is a gap. I'll build a workflow to calculate the force needed to hold it upright - a quick wizard that walks you through a test, then applies the correct counter-force to compensate.

Give me a couple days to work this through internally, I'll share an update soon.

Thank you so much for addressing the cyclic falling back! This came up after updating to 1.3 I believe. Tried adjusting the moza hardware parameters to remedy the cyclic balance but to no avail.

I replied via mail in detail. Works like a charm. The calibration itself still has some minor hiccups, but once I was able to go through with the calibration it works perfectly now.
