A major release built around feel, hardware, and confidence

First-class helicopter force feedback, managed MOZA sessions, and a self-contained Flight Check make the biggest FFB-Bridge update yet easier to set up and easier to trust.

Automatic device preflightAt launch, FFB-Bridge quietly checks the device backend on Windows, Linux, and macOS. Linux also checks read/write access to a supported event node and whether the installed udev rule covers every current device permission. WARN or FAIL shows a non-blocking Review and fix banner naming each problem.
Advanced is one deliberate switchTurning Advanced on reveals and opens every available effect group at once, creating one continuous scroll. You can collapse individual groups afterward; changing profile family while Advanced stays on opens the newly relevant groups too.
Zero means offFor an effect gain or authority control, 0 is the off state. 1.3 removes redundant enable checkboxes and safely normalizes older profiles, so a zero value never hides a second on/off switch.

FFB-Bridge checks a privacy-preserving release manifest and asks before it downloads or installs anything.

Windows

Verified install and restart

Windows downloads the signed installer, verifies its exact size, SHA-256, and publisher signature, installs it for the current user, and restarts FFB-Bridge.

Linux AppImage

In-place AppImage updates

The packaged AppImage downloads and verifies the new build, refreshes its user-scoped installation and desktop entry, then restarts the verified copy.

macOS

Automatic check, guided download

macOS checks automatically and opens the current release notes and signed download when you choose to update.
