Who provides FFB-Bridge

FFB-Bridge is developed and published by Rohsam Inc., a software publisher based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Product support is available at support·ffb-bridge.com. Publisher and code-signing verification details are available at rohsam.com/legal.

Software status

These Terms apply to FFB-Bridge generally, including Free and Pro. The software receives updates, may contain bugs, and may behave differently across simulators, aircraft, operating systems and hardware configurations.

Private download links

Download links sent by email are for your own use. Please do not mirror, resell, repackage, or redistribute private links or installers. If someone else wants FFB-Bridge, send them to ffb-bridge.com so they can get the current build, hashes, safety notes, and support path.

Community profile library

If you upload or download tuning profiles through the community Profile Library, the Profile Library Terms also apply. They cover who owns a shared profile, the licence you grant by uploading, what you may do with profiles you download (use, modify, and re-share non-commercially — no selling), and our right to remove profiles.

Embedded YouTube videos

Forum posts may offer a YouTube player behind a clear load button. The player does not contact YouTube until you select that button. By selecting “Load video from YouTube”, you ask your browser to connect to YouTube and agree that your use of the player is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google processes that connection under its Google Privacy Policy.

Free app and optional support payments

FFB-Bridge is free to download and use. The current app features remain free; an optional support payment is not required for download access, feature access, updates, or ordinary support. If you choose to support development, you pick the amount and complete payment through Stripe-hosted checkout.

Optional support payments help cover development, signing, infrastructure, hardware, and testing. They are not a purchase of a separate licence, paid support plan, priority support queue, or promised future feature. If you make a payment by mistake, contact support·ffb-bridge.com.

FFB-Bridge Pro

FFB-Bridge Pro is currently offered as an open beta. Paid licences are not on sale. Any future Pro purchase will be separate from Free and optional support payments; purchase and refund terms will be provided before checkout.

Keep your license key private. The website stores a keyed hash and suffix of the key; the raw key is excluded. If you lose it, license recovery can rotate or reissue a new key for the same license. Existing activated installs may continue refreshing with their activation tokens unless the license is refunded, charged back, suspended, or revoked.

Refunds, mistaken purchases, chargebacks, and purchase support are handled through support·ffb-bridge.com. A refunded or disputed Pro purchase may cause the related license to stop issuing new entitlements.

Private profile recovery preview

If you explicitly enable this included Pro preview, FFB-Bridge may keep private remote copies of profile JSON you select. Your local files remain the authoritative working copies. The service is not continuous multi-computer sync, does not replace your own local backups, and never turns private profiles into public Profile Library posts. Pausing or losing access does not delete or block local profiles.

The preview allows up to 250 active profiles, 10 retained versions per profile, 500 retained profile identities, 5,000 retained versions per account, 30 days of recoverable trash, and 25 MiB of compressed content. Retained history and trash count toward those limits. Portable export is capped at 256 MiB of retained plaintext plus its manifest so export and import remain possible. Expired trash and versions outside the retention limit may be permanently removed.

This gated preview carries no promise of uninterrupted availability or successful recovery. New enrollment and new uploads require the service to be enabled and an active, eligible Pro license. If that license lapses, an existing recovery account retains sign-in, export, and erasure while the privacy service remains operational. New enrollment may be paused, and public availability remains gated until off-site recovery and erasure drills pass. Core force feedback and local profile files remain available independently.

Code signing and verification

Windows installers are code-signed by the Rohsam publisher identity. Windows may still show SmartScreen or Smart App Control reputation prompts for new builds until those specific files gain download history. Before installing, verify that the file came from ffb-bridge.com, check the published SHA-256 hash when available, and confirm the publisher shown by Windows is Rohsam Inc. or RohsamInc.

Safety

FFB-Bridge controls powered force-feedback hardware that can move suddenly and generate significant physical force. Securely mount and configure your equipment, follow the hardware manufacturer's instructions and the FFB-Bridge setup and safety guides, and arm output only when ready. During calibration or motion tests, keep body parts, cables and nearby objects clear of commanded movement. If unexpected behaviour occurs, immediately Disarm or use Safety Stop; use the hardware's stop or power control if needed. You are responsible for determining whether your particular configuration is safe to operate.

No warranty

FFB-Bridge is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. Rohsam Inc. does not promise uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility with every system, or that every issue can be fixed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rohsam Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data or use; or damage to computers, peripherals, simulation equipment, force-feedback devices or connected hardware arising from or relating to FFB-Bridge, including its operation or third-party hardware behaviour.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rohsam Inc.'s aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to FFB-Bridge is limited to the amount you paid Rohsam Inc. for the FFB-Bridge licence giving rise to the claim. Free use involves no licence payment, and optional support contributions are not licence payments. This cap applies only where lawful and does not reduce any liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a restriction is prohibited. These protections apply to Free and Pro users alike.

Simulation use

FFB-Bridge is intended for recreational and consumer flight simulation. It is not intended to operate or control real aircraft, serve a safety-of-life or safety-critical system, or be used where software failure could cause real-world aviation harm. It is not certified aviation equipment unless expressly stated otherwise. This does not by itself prevent use in a professional simulator that is outside those safety-critical uses.

Support

We try to provide practical support, especially when reports include clear reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, or a support bundle. Support is not guaranteed, and response times may vary depending on issue volume and the hardware involved.

Trademarks and compatibility names

Third-party manufacturers, products and trademarks, including Microsoft Flight Simulator, SimConnect, SideWinder and X-Plane, belong to their respective owners. Except where FFB-Bridge or Rohsam Inc. expressly identifies an official partnership, sponsorship or other relationship, references are solely for identification and compatibility and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, certification or affiliation. The expressly identified MOZA partnership remains as described on our partnership page.

Changes

These terms may change as FFB-Bridge evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, when appropriate, announced to active subscribers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
