Variable force curve based on trim position

Is there a way to introduce a force "curve" based on the current elevator trim position? AFAIK there's currently no interface in the market that does this and it's really essential to a lot of the aircrafts with variable spring feel design like the CL650 which we already have an amazing add-on for but no proper way to introduce realistic yoke behaviour.

Hey could you describe this in a bit more detail? Do you want a force curve tuning page where you can set the curve? Or something else?

Hi!

Yeah what i wanted to have is something like that i can bind to either a lvar in MSFS or a dataref in Xplane manually (for example stab trim position based on different aircraft), then i can map a custom curve mapping the output force to each position of that lvar/dataref.

Example:

dataref.xxx @ -0.5 = 60% of force on y axis; dataref.xxx @ 0 = 20% of force on y axis; dataref.xxx @ 0.5 = 60% of force on y axis; dataref.xxx @ 1 = 100% of force on y axis;

etc.

I hope that explanation made it clearer. But a specific use case would be for the Hot Start Challenger 650, the Challenger has a "variable spring" system based on current stab trim position, so the spring tension is different based on different stabilizer trim position, There is currently no interface software in the market that can provide that kind of freedom.

Yes this would be a great feature, ive been playing with this and the moza software and currently there is no way to simulate this effect properly. It is a needed feature to simulate the challenger all the way up to all crj variants. We just need a way to set control force gain vs trim position, the ability to build a curve with multiple points would be ideal because I have the exact force values vs trim position from the developer of the cl650.

While I haven't yet decided how to build this interface, do you mind sharing that table of force curves vs trim position with me (assuming it's allowed and so on, don't send me something I should not see)?

I can look at creating a custom profile for the CL650. This will also help me understand how to build this out.
