Controls (coming soon)

Controls will be the place to set up every controller in your cockpit and decide how the simulator sees them. It is not available in this beta.

What Controls is for

Many cockpits have more than one controller: a force-feedback stick or yoke, a separate throttle, rudder pedals, a button box. Controls is planned as one workspace where you:

  • see each controller you have and check that its axes and buttons work
  • combine a base, a throttle and pedals into one setup
  • pass a controller through Pro, so the simulator reads a steady FFB-Bridge controller instead of the physical one
  • shape inputs, such as curves and calibration, before the simulator reads them
  • see your MSFS and X-Plane bindings and print a reference sheet

In this beta

The Controls item in the sidebar is greyed out and cannot be opened. Your controllers reach the simulator directly, as they do in FFB-Bridge Free.

The Windows installer already includes the drivers Controls will use: Rohsam's Control Router and Native Consumer drivers, and the HidHide input filter. Pro does not use them until Controls is available. See Drivers and third-party software for details.

Button assignments today

To choose what a button on your base or handle does in the app, such as force trim release or push to talk, use the Controls tab in Base settings. That tab works now and is separate from the sidebar item.
