From composite manufacture to an aircraft of its own

SHARK.AERO traces its roots to composite-component manufacturing before beginning Shark development in 2006. The manufacturer dates the first flight to 19 August 2009, with first customer deliveries in 2011 and Czech certification following in 2013. This chronology describes the Shark family and is distinct from dates printed in a simulator introduction.

A touring aircraft on long journeys

The manufacturer’s timeline records delivery of the hundredth Shark in 2020 and the round-the-world flights of Zara and Mack Rutherford in 2022. Those individual journeys helped bring the aircraft to a wider audience. Their routes and specially prepared aircraft do not establish the range or equipment of every production Shark.

The simulator collaboration

The Shark 600 simulation was developed through cooperation between SHARK.AERO, training provider Wingman Aviation and PropairFlight. Its manual identifies Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 as the intended platforms and explains the simulated systems and procedures separately from the manufacturer’s aircraft history.

About the values

Strengths are normalized hardware-feel settings. They set the effect balance; hand force depends on the device and its limits. The IAS reference is a tuning value.

Master gain & control system

Master gain85%

A escala final de saída aplicada a tudo que o modelo produz, antes do teto do dispositivo.

Mais: tudo (mola, cargas, efeitos) fica mais forte junto.

Menos: tudo amacia junto.

Por que aqui: Scales overall profile strength while preserving effect balance, subject to device and output limits.

Forces

Spring strength74%

Por que aqui: The autopilot and trim instructions describe the Propair Flight model. The baseline spring is 0.74. Its low-speed blend reaches baseline strength at 60 KIAS.

Shark 600 — simulator documentation
Overall aerodynamic load80%

Por que aqui: The aerodynamic-load gain is 0.8 with an indicated-speed reference of 120 KIAS. This supplies speed-dependent loading alongside the spring.

Max output force55%

Native spring effects and device limits remain separate.

Elevator load100%

Por que aqui: Scales pitch aerodynamic loading; pitch spring travel and trim responses are separate settings.

Aileron load72%

Por que aqui: Roll and pitch aerodynamic scales are 0.72 and 1, respectively. They set the aerodynamic axis balance. No custom spring-travel curve is enabled.

Por que aqui: Sets the IAS reference for aerodynamic loading. It is an estimate, not published cruise TAS or a flight limit.

Spring engagement start16.8 kt

Por que aqui: Sets the IAS where the low-speed spring blend starts rising. This is a feel threshold, not a flight limit.

Spring engagement full60.0 kt

Por que aqui: Sets the IAS where the low-speed blend reaches baseline strength; high-speed stiffening also uses it.

Spring deadband4%

Por que aqui: Sets travel around the centre before the baseline spring resists. Smaller values engage it sooner.

Airspeed blendingTrue

Por que aqui: Allows baseline spring strength to rise with indicated airspeed where the control law permits it.

Low-speed spring floor50%

Por que aqui: Sets low-speed spring strength as a fraction of baseline when blending is enabled. One keeps full strength.

Centre firmness vs speed15%

Por que aqui: The high-speed spring-stiffening gain is 0.15. It strengthens the permitted spring response above 60 KIAS, with the squared-speed ratio capped at 5.

Centre stiffening cap5

Menos: o endurecimento corta antes.

Por que aqui: Limits the squared airspeed ratio used for high-speed spring stiffening; it is not a device-force cap.

Trim

Trim relief (elevator)30%

Por que aqui: The autopilot and trim instructions describe the Propair Flight model. Pitch authority 0.3 provides load relief and permitted centre movement; roll authority is 0.

Shark 600 — simulator documentation
Trim relief (aileron)0%

Por que aqui: Sets rolling texture strength, modified by speed, surface and undercarriage configuration.

Gear bumps25%

Por que aqui: Sets gear-bump texture during ground motion, separate from touchdown impact.

Effect gains · Airframe

Stall buffet35%

Zero removes the cue without changing simulator stalls or warnings.

Mach buffet0%

Por que aqui: Sets high-Mach buffet strength; onset and full-strength thresholds are separate.

Flap buffet14%

Por que aqui: Sets flap buffet at the configured position and speed gates. Flap movement texture is separate.

Gear buffet0%

Por que aqui: Sets gear aerodynamic buffet; movement and ground-contact cues are separate.

Stick shaker50%

Por que aqui: Sets triggered shaker strength; inactive while the shaker feature is disabled.

Effect gains · Engine, mechanical & drag

Flap motion12%

Por que aqui: Sets texture from observed flap movement; a command without movement does not establish the cue.

Engine rumble12%

Por que aqui: Sets estimated engine vibration using configured telemetry and response, not measured cockpit vibration.

Touchdown thump65%

Por que aqui: Sets landing-impact strength; landing telemetry and response shape determine the pulse.

Reverse rumble0%

Por que aqui: Sets reverse-thrust vibration with valid reverser and engine conditions. Zero removes the cue.

Stick drop

Stick drop fade36

Menos: some quase ao começar a rolar.

Por que aqui: A stored parameter in this profile. Its effect depends on the associated feature and control law; it is not a measured aircraft force.

Autopilot follow

AP follow authority10%

Por que aqui: Sets admitted AP-follow gain, not a percentage of travel. Runtime ownership and input limits still apply.

Stick feel

Deadband narrowing speed60.0 kt

Mais: a more gradual build to a later peak.

Menos: a quicker build.

Por que aqui: A stored parameter in this profile. Its effect depends on the associated feature and control law; it is not a measured aircraft force.
