Checkout is handled by Stripe. After Stripe confirms payment, the website creates your Pro license and emails the key to the address used here. The desktop app activates with that key through the Pro licensing API.

The checkout redirect does not issue keys. Stripe sends a signed webhook to the website, and that server-side webhook creates and emails the license.
