I would suggest to disable it. On my heli flights I got the disabled message to often and I didn't think at the correct forces. The is a slight oscillation but with low force, less than the stick is capable and it stops the normally great experience at all. I thought that I could disable the safety feature with the checkbox but no.

Yeah, it's hard to tune a safety feature for ALL kinds of sticks. I will make a change - I will disable safety stops by default for Sidewinder and Logitech, and also allow a user to disable safety stops. For weaker hardware it really doesn't matter, and if a user wants to turn it off on stronger sticks, that can be a choice.

New version later today will have this.

1.4.1-beta3 now does this

1. Safety Stop is disabled on the older, weaker sticks that aren't really dangerous.

2. You can turn it off yourself in case it is on (or you want it off on a stronger stick). It's under Settings -> Session (Automation and Safety).

I think this should sort out your issue. Let me know if you notice anything else broken, and thanks for flagging this.
