Forty-five minutes over Cascina Costa
The first AW139 flew from Cascina Costa di Samarate on 3 February 2001. Its 45-minute sortie included hovering, lateral and forward flight, with checks of handling and aircraft systems.
The AW139 type certificate describes two PT6C engines, a five-blade main rotor, four-blade tail rotor and retractable tricycle landing gear. Its rotor-speed limits distinguish powered and unpowered operation, and VNE changes with altitude, temperature and power state.

The first AW139 flew from Cascina Costa di Samarate on 3 February 2001. Its 45-minute sortie included hovering, lateral and forward flight, with checks of handling and aircraft systems.
Initial deliveries began in early 2004. By Leonardo’s 2021 anniversary account, the helicopter was serving offshore transport alongside rescue, air ambulance, law-enforcement and other public-service roles. Assembly in Italy and Philadelphia supported that expanding customer base.
By its February 2021 anniversary review, Leonardo reported more than three million fleet hours and customers in over seventy countries. Its account divided the fleet across offshore transport and public-service work such as rescue, air ambulance and law enforcement. That history explains the range of cabin, rescue and mission equipment associated with the AW139. The figures are a dated programme snapshot, while the long-nose X-Rotors aircraft identifies the specific simulator configuration.
X-Rotors' long-nose X-Plane 12 aircraft includes Primus Epic Phase 7 avionics, a four-axis flight director and separate cyclic and collective force-trim functions. Winch, float and filter fits are offered.
The twin-engine AW139 with a five-blade main rotor and retractable gear.
The spring stays independent of airspeed. Directed aerodynamic loading is omitted.
Local force trim is off. Autopilot following is off.
Five main rotor blades and retractable wheeled landing gear.

Strengths are normalized hardware-feel settings. They set the effect balance; hand force depends on the device and its limits. The IAS reference is a tuning value.
Por qué aquí: Scales overall profile strength while preserving effect balance, subject to device and output limits.
The baseline spring is 0.1. Low-speed spring blending is off.
Por qué aquí: The 0 gain omits sustained directed airspeed loading. Spring resistance remains independent.
Por qué aquí: Scales pitch aerodynamic loading; pitch spring travel and trim responses are separate settings.
Por qué aquí: Roll and pitch aerodynamic scales are 1 and 1, respectively. These stored weights do not create directed aerodynamic loading while that term is inactive. No custom spring-travel curve is enabled.
Native spring effects and device limits remain separate.
Por qué aquí: Sets the IAS reference for aerodynamic loading. It is an estimate, not published cruise TAS or a flight limit.
Por qué aquí: Sets travel around the centre before the baseline spring resists. Smaller values engage it sooner.
Por qué aquí: Allows baseline spring strength to rise with indicated airspeed where the control law permits it.
Por qué aquí: Sets low-speed spring strength as a fraction of baseline when blending is enabled. One keeps full strength.
Por qué aquí: Sets the IAS where the low-speed spring blend starts rising. This is a feel threshold, not a flight limit.
Por qué aquí: Sets the IAS where the low-speed blend reaches baseline strength; high-speed stiffening also uses it.
Por qué aquí: Adds permitted spring resistance above the full-blend speed. Zero removes this high-speed increase.
Por qué aquí: Limits the squared airspeed ratio used for high-speed spring stiffening; it is not a device-force cap.
Menos: sigues sosteniendo esfuerzo aun compensado.
Por qué aquí: Scales supported pitch-trim relief and permitted centre movement. Zero removes pitch response.
Por qué aquí: Scales supported roll-trim relief and permitted centre movement. Zero removes roll response.
Por qué aquí: Gear-motion and wheel-contact texture are estimates. No skid-scrape, float or winch force is assigned without qualified contact/load telemetry.
Por qué aquí: Sets gear-bump texture during ground motion, separate from touchdown impact.
Zero removes the cue without changing simulator stalls or warnings.
Por qué aquí: Sets high-Mach buffet strength; onset and full-strength thresholds are separate.
Por qué aquí: Sets flap buffet at the configured position and speed gates. Flap movement texture is separate.
Por qué aquí: Sets gear aerodynamic buffet; movement and ground-contact cues are separate.
Por qué aquí: Sets triggered shaker strength; inactive while the shaker feature is disabled.
Por qué aquí: Sets landing-impact strength; landing telemetry and response shape determine the pulse.
Por qué aquí: Sets reverse-thrust vibration with valid reverser and engine conditions. Zero removes the cue.
Por qué aquí: Sets estimated engine vibration using configured telemetry and response, not measured cockpit vibration.
Por qué aquí: Sets texture from observed flap movement; a command without movement does not establish the cue.
Por qué aquí: Sets admitted AP-follow gain, not a percentage of travel. Runtime ownership and input limits still apply.
The strength of this effect.
Más: a stronger effect.
Menos: a weaker one.
Por qué aquí: Gear-motion and wheel-contact texture are estimates. No skid-scrape, float or winch force is assigned without qualified contact/load telemetry.

Where this effect reaches full strength (or has fully faded, for washouts).
Más: a more gradual build to a later peak.
Menos: a quicker build.
Por qué aquí: Sets the final flap index for detent normalization. UP plus three detents uses maximum index3.
Where this effect begins fading in.
Más: the effect begins later.
Menos: it begins earlier.
