FFB-Bridge Pro is now in open beta — and everyone is welcome to join.

Pro is a separate, paid layer on top of the free app (which stays free, forever, as promised). The beta tests the first Pro workflows, not effects. My philosophy is simple. Free users should have access to every single effect, vibration, and so forth. Free is fully featured and complete, there's no artificial nerfing of the product.

So what's Pro then? Well, I'm starting off with the user experience - making it easier to use the program. As far as I know, this has never been done before...

Voice Tune — tune the stick by talking to it.

Hold push-to-talk and say it in plain English: "make the stick heavier","ease off the runway rumble","set engine rumble to 15 percent" and it applies the change to a live B draft, so your saved profile is untouched until you keep it.

You can even ask "what makes it shake?" and it'll name the dominant force and offer to dial it back. Recognition runs entirely on your PC; your mic audio never goes to the cloud. It is lightweight and fast, and shouldn't take up too many resources on your machine.

Cockpit Companion — tune from a phone or tablet, mid-flight.

Open a second screen on your own network and tune from the cockpit while the sim stays in front of you: a live board of every active effect, one-tap A/B tuning, calm presets, and profile switching. No cloud, nothing to install on the tablet, it's just a link. Scan a QR code and you're ready to go.

Profile History — an undo history for your feel. Every Pro save is snapshotted first, so you can roll back to any earlier version in one click. Even the rollback is reversible.

How to join

Access is request-only during the beta, so an invite can only reach an address you control, but anyone can ask. It's not restricted in any way.

1. Request access on the Pro beta page -> https://ffb-bridge.com/pro/beta with the email you want tied to your Pro beta license. 2. Confirm the email link. 3. When invited, click the join link, accept the beta terms, and a test license is issued automatically. 4. Install the Windows Pro beta build, activate, and use the in-app report buttons while you test.

A few beta notes

  • Windows-only for now; Linux and macOS Pro come later. The voice features need more testing on those two OSs.
  • Pro keeps its own settings and profile folders and doesn't touch your Free install.
  • Beta licenses are deliberately strict — 1 activation, 3 offline days — to keep betas fresh. The full release will be a lot more generous.
  • This isn't the whole Pro feature list; more is coming before release. I have a few more ideas :)
