Yes, the fix for now is to disable auto-arm if this causes an issue. The problem is, MSFS does NOT expose a clean way to know when the sim is in the Ready to Fly state vs loading - it initializes stuff before loading, and forces come through. I tried various hacky ways (gate off camera, apply a delay, etc) to workaround, but nothing is really perfect.

So instead of shipping a brittle hack, I would suggest simply turning off auto arm for this particular yoke. Most sticks aren't affected (I guess their firmware recovers? not sure) so it's not worth making my codebase brittle for just this one thing. I tried a bunch of different things.. don't like any of them.

The real fix is to wait for MS to update their simvars so that I can really tell the correct states of flight.
