Yeah, this is what I want to know. Tell me if it conflicts with your existing setup - I can make it so that you need to use a modifier button (like press the FTR button and then it will work). Does that make more sense?

ok did some test with latest build on my ms ffb2. 1-Heli flight test sequence not matching what it suppose to what is described in each sequence. 2-both my axis forces are reversed now in flight test but no big deal I change in hw settings. 3-When testing individual forces in flight test page, I can only test a different force if I restart the app. For ex I can test pitch direction force but then when I try to test roll direction nothing happens to my sick until I try it again after restarting the app.

Thats what I so far no more time today

oh yeah forgot to mention I still had to tame down the damper strength to 30. Anything stick got too wild

Hmm, can't reproduce this. Could you submit the logs for it tomorrow? Do this

1. Test pitch. 2. Test roll right after (and on your setup this isn't working)

then, without closing the app, go to Support -> Diagnostics, click "Support Bundle" and then upload that from the link that shows up saying "upload on the feedback form". Clicking "Reveal File" will open the folder with the zip file, you can upload that (or email it to me).

Ok latest beta 1.3.0-beta 4 didn't work for me too. Even reducing Master gain to 1 %did reduce the rumble in the helicopter flight check. Will try to upload Diagnostics. If I use the Forces Test Centering spring, the Logitech Force 3D oscillate after release.

Damper didn't work on my Logitech Force 3D pro, maybe the problem is that there seems no correct position feedback to FF-Bridge?

And now, FFB-Bridge will update itself. You can choose the Beta Channel or the Stable Channel, and it keeps itself up to date.

This does mean that the app now makes a call to the server to check for new releases. However, there is zero information shared with the server - nothing identifying. It just checks a link to see if a new release is out, and if so, updates itself. Much easier than the mass email and all that.

I use MOZA B6 base w/o extension and Thrustmaster Warthog stick. Sorry, but I don't usually fly helos, and my only reference are the FF effects and forces from DCS and FS2024 helos using the MOZA Cockpit software. I must say that this software makes MOZA´s useless. Even I deleted the plugin for MSFS 2024 and now I cant fly w/o FFBB. But...I´m finding too difficult to control all the helicopters, heavy and light ones, because the immense force I need to use with the cyclic. I need to reduce the master gain to 30%-40% on every profile to avoid crashing every time. My question is, which option in FFBB controls this "hardness". I tried every single one and I can't find the one that makes the joy less hard to move? Is it Rate Dumping? Is it Spring Strength? I don't know in real life, but the small G2 Gimbal, should not be too difficult to move the cyclic from the center, and in my AB6 is as hard as the MH-60.

Also, in general, one observation. I think some effects are set too high on the default profiles. Aircraft or Helicopters. Specifically, "runway rumble" or "engine rumble". My desk vibrates like crazy before I have time to reduce their levels. Maybe are too high because they are based on Sidewinder FFB2 ?

Hey Luke97,

Yes, you are correct in your guess that the profiles are tuned for the Sidewinder and thus stronger sticks can be weird. I'm building in a overall damping control for this that will scale forces; the Sidewinder does 2NM, the moza can hit 9NM, and there are bases coming that can go to 40-60NM!

So it's not really possible to build profiles tuned for each one. But the overall torque/damping slider should help. I'm testing it myself right now and tweaking it to get it to beta stage.

You should see an update today that will help with this. That should also help your issue with the helicopter profiles.

Also, thank you for the praise, but I must point out that FFB-Bridge doesn't make Moza Cockpit redundant :) .

You still need that to do firmware updates, any deep settings, use it with any other games that I don't support and much more that only the manufacturer can do.

I'm not trying to compete with any particular manufacturers' software - my goal is to build a manufacturer/stick agnostic control plane that can work with basically anything (that's the goal, anyway..). So don't uninstall it just yet!

Thanks for your fast reply. I wait for the update.

About MOZA software, I´m afraid I must agree 100%. We need it. Today I discovered (please, anyone can correct me if I´m wrong) that you must have MOZA software loaded, a with a profile loaded and enabled but with almost all options disabled, but with Integrated FFB selected, to allow FFBB work correctly. While I was doing some helicopter settings tweaking to make cyclic less hard, I realized I had loaded a F/A-18 profile. That was making the cyclic even more difficult to move. So, I made a blank profile only changing the options that at the end until I obtained the combination of FFBB and MOZA that worked correctly. Selecting DirectInput or Telemetry FFB on the Basic Settings screen made the cyclic feel dead even with FFBB enabled. But with Integrated FFB and all advanced telemetry FFB settings disabled, seems to make all work as it should. I needed to lower some settings on FFB anyway, as we discussed previously, but everything looks more real now. MOZA´s even affects to the helo trim options of FFBB. It is not working correctly if I don't do as I said with FFBB and the blank profile. I would like that some AB9 or AB6 owners could confirm (or not) my observations.

Nope, that's not correct. You do NOT need Moza running, and no, you don't need to load any profiles in Moza.

You have to do a one time change, and then you turn Moza Cockpit off.

Follow these steps - https://ffb-bridge.com/docs/moza

1. Do this setup on Windows; the saved preset then applies wherever the base is used, including Linux and macOS.

2. Force-Feedback Mode = DirectInput. In MOZA Cockpit → Basic Settings, set the Force-Feedback Mode to DirectInput.

3. Set Spring to 0. On the same page set Spring to 0. (Damper, Inertia and Friction are low by default and can be left alone.) Under Special, make sure Hardware Trim Mode is OFF.

4. Save a preset, auto-switch off. Save these as a new preset and turn Auto-switch preset OFF — otherwise MOZA Cockpit reverts to the spring-on Idle preset and you would have to reselect the preset every session. (MOZA's auto-switch only follows their own plugins, not which app last sent commands.)

After this, you can exit Moza Cockpit (or even uninstall it, but that's not needed), and everything will work fine.

I guess that explain my concern with the Logitech Force 3D pro too. Just found that I must tune down cyclic strength in hardware to15% or lower too get a damping without bumps. Will try the next beta asap.

Tried flying everything seems fine to me now with my ms sidewinder forcefeedback2 after taming down stuuf in the tuning. Especially dampening. Still feel danpening wierd def does not feel like thick fluid as described, at least on my stck. I believe friction force would be more useful. Its what I was ising in my ms ff2 tool before coming to your app and it felt much more natural.

A new beta is out!

1.3.0-beta13

Your app should auto update, or else download it from https://ffb-bridge.com/beta.

Quite a few changes since 1.3 beta 9, which is what you have right now. Read the release notes on the beta page to see what's changed.

Moza users (AB6/AB9/AY210) - in Moza Cockpit, do the following

1. Force Feedback Mode - Directinput 2. Max Torque - 100% 3. Overall Force Feedback Intensity - 100% 4. Spring - 0 5. Damper - 0 6. Inertia - 0 7. Friction - 0

Save this as a profile. Your stick or yoke should go totally limp and loose after this. Then close Moza Cockpit (no need to do this over and over, just once). Now, FFB-Bridge can manage the forces in Windows/Linux/Mac.

There's still more to be done on the 1.3 release, I'll look into the damping issue and more tomorrow. So far, so good.

Thanks! The MOZA setup profile tips worked perfectly. Still, the default effects are too high for me, no changes from Beta 8, but I can tweak every aircraft and helicopter and reduce the stronger effects, so its not a problem.

Please set your Damper in Moza Cockpit to 10%, not 0. There is a bug that I'm fixing, but in the meanwhile, make this change. You will have an update shortly.

Beta 14 - Safety Launch. Please Update!

1. Keep the damper at 10% in Moza Cockpit. That will be the new guidance going forward.

In addition, Beta.14 now watches the stick's own motion whenever centering is active. If it ever sees a sustained, large back-and-forth building (rather than settling), it cuts all force output within about a second and tells you in the log — disarm/re-arm resumes. I'll see if I can make this better (maybe pop up a modal).

It's tuned so normal flying, firm corrections, and the brief overshoot on release never trigger it. I validated that on my AB9.

Even with the base misconfigured, or during a sim load with nobody at the stick, it can no longer build up. Needs more testing to be 100% sure, but it's close.

Hi, thanks for adding helicopters. I'm currently trying with the H125 with my ffb2 on windows and have constant heavy periodic (around every 1sec) rotational shaking everytime I move the stick ever so slightly to any direction in stable forward flight. I even had it while the heli was cold and dark on the ground. Not sure if it is meant to do that, I'm not a real heli pilot. I do fly them a lot though. Asobos H125 and Taogs H500 mostly. I can reduce the effect to just a slight felt periodic vibration by setting the cyclic dampening in the tuning to 0 ( or cloes to 0, not sure if this also reduces other effects) or reducing the cyclic damper to around 10 in the hardware>helicopter settings. With the default settings it was rather violent and even moved the base of the stick around while holding it. Was using the 1.3 beta 14. Oh and the master on/off switches in the effects group on the dashbord did nothing to deactivate anything when ticking any of the boxes to off. At least I never felt a difference.
