After using the ffb-bridge v1.3 (stable) I can say that it was the first time that my Moza Yoke has finaly work in Linux. My first test drive was in X-Plane 12, on the default Cessna 172 (g1000). I tweaked the default Cessna 172 profile.
- The main "Master Gain" was decreased to 75%.
- Decreased few of the "effect gains" for "Runway Rumble", "Gear Bumps", "flap buffet" and the similar, since I did not want to have to much rumble or shaking.
I'm not a pilot, but I can compare the experience to the original "Moza Cockpit" on Windows. On the ramp, the yoke manipulation was buttery for the pitch and roll axes. When airborne, the roll was smooth, but the pitch was heavier (as expected, and as I've seen on youtube). Flaps rumble needs more attention, there should be a continues low shudder and a small bump once it reaches the position, currently the yoke shakes to much, in my opinion.
If I'll compare it to the profile I use in "Moza Cockpit", I think it felt more natural and less heavy, all around.
Unfortunately I can't really sim fly these days, only for short tests, but still I would like to thank the author, for the time, patience and dedication he pored into this utility. He did what $$$ companies do not dare to do, and it is a brilliant tool at that.
